Hi there, I am so happy you found us. The birthing process, from conception to postpartum is a time of “most”! It can be the most fear, the most worry you’ve ever felt. But birth also brings the most excitement and bliss, the most joy of our lives. To get to come alongside mamas as a listener, supporter and encourager is a true dream calling. Our goal is to ultimately remind you that you CAN do this, and you don’t have to do it alone.
Shaina and I come from a family of seven and share a passion for stewarding the next generation into and through this world. I’ve worked seven years in speech pathology helping children and the elderly find or regain the power of communication. When I gave birth to my first child in 2021, I realized a passion for the entire birthing process and feel so privileged to now provide these doula services to you. Supporting women is my joy.

hi hi, my name is shaina, I am a full spectrum doula, lactation consultant, and 1/2 of the formama team. born and raised in los angeles I have an avid love for the beach, the outdoors and anything involving sunshine. I am married to my best friend and biggest supporter and together, we have a precious baby girl. after my own transformative home birth, supported by the most amazing birth team- I truly believe that each person deserves to have the birth they have envisioned; whatever that may look like, my hope is that you feel empowered and supported throughout this process.
